Here is the list of tasks that our helpers often follow automatically, unless they are instructed otherwise:
- Dust all surfaces
- Pack up messy items and organize neatly
- Sweep the floor
- Mop the floor
- Repeat sweep and mop multiple times if required
- Window and grills cleaning
- Curtain cleaning
- Start washing machine with dirty laundry in it
- Hand-wash selected items with proper tools / instructions
- Take down dried laundry
- Fold laundry
- Iron and hang selected laundry with proper tools / instructions
- Continue with other cleaning tasks whilst awaiting washer to end
- Take out wet laundry to hang dry
- Dust the ceiling fan * (within MOM workplace safety height limit)
- Wipe down surfaces

Nonetheless, we have received numerous custom requests, which may not fit into the normal cleaning schedule.
For example, an ad hoc cleaning schedule for only 1 or 1.5 or 2 hours! Or, a random 6-hour spring cleaning session in between regular weekly cleaning sessions, such as for Chinese New Year.

How much do we charge for the home services?
Our lowest fees start from only $8 per hour. Our regular weekly home cleaning services are charged on average $22/hour. Our prices are always guaranteed to be the lowest. Try us to get a free quote!
What exactly is MEIDE?
We are an online platform that concentrates currently on bringing home cleaning services and babysitters and nannies to those who need it in Singapore. As of now, we only service locations in Singapore, as well as offshore islands like Sentosa, St. John’s islands, Lazarus, and so on. Of note, our babysitters and some part time helpers can attend to travel trips too and this is called our Overseas Nanny Services. They can also do housework for you!

Are you under the Household Services Scheme in Singapore?
Yes, we are listed and officially providing services under HSS. We have been doing this for years, and thus are specialists in the residential cleaning for regular clients. Some take up our cleaning sessions once a fortnight, some take it weekly (the most popular!), and some several times throughout the week.
Are your workers legal, properly trained, and insured?
Yes, you can rest assured that all of them have undergone a rigorous selection process as well as in-person training. On top of that, we conduct regular checks and frequent upskilling to ensure our cleaners are top-notch in quality. We also have full workplace insurance and medical insurance coverage for all our HSS cleaners. All of them hold proper permits from the Singapore Government.
For home cleaning, do I need to provide the cleaning tools?
Unlike others, we do NOT require you to provide your own cleaning tools. We have many types of cleaning tools sets available, depending on your type of cleaning session booked.
For general maintenance or weekly home cleaning, we can actually arrange our standard set of cleaning equipment, which are all brand-new, and deliver them to your residence. You can keep the tools and supplies for your future usage. Whenever it needs topping up, let us know and we will get it done for you. Less hassle, and more relaxation for our homeowners!
For deep cleaning, like post-tenancy cleaning, or specialized cleaning, our dedicated cleaning crew will bring their own tool sets. These cleaning tools often have special functions, such as the steam extraction machine, industrial-grade wet and dry vacuum, ladders, and so on. The team will arrive with the tools and leave with them. You can just rest on your couch, meanwhile!
Lastly, if you’d like to save money on the home cleaning, you CAN also provide your own tools. We encourage this for the regular and general weekly cleaning bookings. However, we do not encourage this for deep and special cleaning requests.
Many of our regular customers engaging weekly residential cleaning services get our helpers to use their own home tools. This way, you save on the cleaning tools fee, and only pay for the cleaner at $22 per hour!
Can I get both cleaning and babysitting services?
Yes, of course you can! We have had clients who require regular cleaners cleaning their house on the weekends, and also engage babysitters to help bring kids to school and take care of them after school. Our helpers can also handle some cooking, ironing and laundry for you.
