Homeowner Request
Your request is always taken first into consideration.
For example, your friend has recommended a specific premium or regular cleaner, based on his or her experience – we will find a cleaning slot based on your request.
Yes, you can choose a specific home cleaner of your choice. This means, you can select the same cleaner for every session of cleaning. No extra charges!

Date and Time Availability
Next, we need to check for availability based on the desired date as well as start and end timing. The duration of your cleaning matters too! The easiest durations to match, are 3 and 4 hour slots as they are the most popular.
Hence, homeowners are strongly encouraged to provide a wider range of dates and timings when booking their cleaning slots.
The more flexible your schedule is, the easier it is to match your desired cleaners for you!
Remember, all slots are always based on a first-come-first-served (FCFS) basis. Hence, we also suggest our clients to book in as many dates and timings as possible to secure your coveted cleaning slots!
Frequency of Regular Cleaning
Hm, perhaps this may be a factor you may be curious about.
However, the frequency of cleaning often directly translates into how many sessions per week and per month you would book for the regular cleaning.
For homeowners who require more frequent cleaning, and more cleaning slots per week or per month, we will dedicate 1 or 2 specific cleaners (usually from our HSS range of cleaners), so that their schedule is usually kept freer for you.
That way, our regular clients will find it easier to book in their regular cleaning slots!
Yup, we definitely have your best interests in mind!
Location of Cleaning
All our cleaners do cleaning jobs all around Singapore, including offshore islands like Sentosa too!
We usually give a 2 hour buffer so that there is more than enough time for the cleaners to rest and travel and also have a meal.
Nonetheless, sometimes, with a shorter distance, the gap between sessions may be only 1.5 hours. Also, if the location is too far off, for example, in Sentosa Condo, or near Nanyang (far west), we will allocate 2.5 to 3 hours.
All these calculations will be done by our backend team to ensure the smooth regular cleaning schedule for cleaners and customers.

Premium V.S. Regular Cleaning
As per our frequently asked questions, we distinguish two categories of cleaners – those with significantly more good reviews and more experience – as Premium range, and all others as Regular range.
Please note that the hourly rate for premium cleaners is slightly higher than regular cleaners. Thus, without saying, your budget consideration also forms part of our matching process. We would not want to match you with a cleaner that is too far off from your cleaning budget per month or per week!
Yes, price does make a difference in cleaning quality!
Furthermore, there are some of our HSS workers who are especially good at ironing, or perhaps especially good at cleaning the stove, fridge and kitchen hood.
Hence, besides the other factors mentioned in this article, we will take this into account to provide the best match of cleaner for you.
Language Barriers
Need a cleaner who can speak mandarin, Malay, or other dialects perhaps?
Although all our helpers’ base mode of communication professionally is English, most of them can also converse in other tongues as they would have significant working experience in Singapore.
Mostly, they have worked in Singapore before as domestic helpers and thus are relatively well versed in these languages.
On top of these, we also encourage customers to send us details or a list of tasks so that we can communicate with the helper(s) to brief them on what to do, which makes the cleaning process more efficient.
Also, we would suggest for client(s) to be around to assist with translation during the first few session(s), just in case. Thereafter, once a good communication and familiarity is built, language barriers would hardly pose a challenge!
Pets and Gender Requests
Now, this used to be of higher importance when arranging cleaning sessions.
However, with the recent introduction of the Household Services Scheme, an overwhelming majority of part time cleaners in Singapore as well as those in MEIDE Cleaning pool are now female. As of writing, it is a requirement by the government for those under HSS to be female.
Particularly, this is true for those requiring recurring household cleaning services.
Also, during the selection process, via interviews and practical assessments, we will ensure that the HSS cleaners are able to attend cleaning sessions regardless of the domestic animals present. So, rest assured we will still take note of specific household setups to match the right cleaner for you!
